Zane is working as a Freelance Character Artist based out of Grand Rapids, MI. Currently he is working on a remote contract with BonusXP.
In 2010, Zane started his first game dev job at YETi CGI as a UI artist and 3D modeler. During this time he worked on web and mobile projects for clients such as Disney Interactive, Zynga, and Kixeye.
Since 2013 he's been freelancing full-time as a 3D Character Artist and collaborated with a variety of clients on a range of game titles. Some of these include VR experiences for Mattel's View-Master, Pumped BMX, and Hero Academy 2.
Zane has contributed to over 25 projects for more than 10 companies including work for video game art, VR, product rendering, and print/digital advertising. He specializes in creating high end character models for video games and has professional experience digital sculpting, low-poly modeling, unwrapping, texturing, rigging, in addition to art direction, and prototype look-development.
